With the iPhone 5 coming out it is crazy how people are so obsessed with it. I like a good piece of tech. They are fun to play around with and are capable of coming with many cool features. I don't wait in line for something that can easily be bought a little while after the first sell date. There will not be a shortage of iPhone 5s. If they do well they will continue to be ordered and made to satisfy any customer willing to go out and buy. I still have a "dumb" phone, so maybe I am behind the times, but I see no reason to upgrade to any sort of smart phone. Let alone, wait in a line just to get the next big phone.

I agree with you, that is, unless I have the funds to purchase said technology. In which case I exclaim, "Hey why not?" And my guess is that most of the fan boys who are standing in line must have the means :) Is this not So? Although, I do know some people (friends) who immediately sell their previous phone to fund the next one.
ReplyDeleteIt wasn't until I got a smart phone did I realize that I wanted one all along. People rush to Disneyland upon opening of a new attraction just so they can claim that "they were there first." I think it's the same with the iPhone. The iPhone 5 isn't that great yet people still rush to it. At least Disneyland has rides. The iPhone is just a smart phone.
ReplyDeleteI like my iPod touch, but I refuse to get a smartphone that requires a data plan. If that means I'll never own a smart phone, oh well.
